Girl tells her girlfriends that she and Boy are officially Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
At the same time across town Boy is getting some New Girl’s number at a bar and telling his wingman that he’s still banging that chick he met a couple weeks ago.
A couple of weeks ago on Live & Uncensored we did a show called “How to Break A Heart.” We explored the different ways that people use to rid someone from their lives. It was quite interesting but there was one theme that was brought up a few times during that show and after the show that drives this conversation. The question wasn’t how to break someone’s heart, the question really is how can you tell if your really dating? At what point do you become and exclusive couple?
In our conversations in the chat room that night and conversations with my friends over the past few weeks there were so many different answers to this question. The most popular was that when you have sex, that’s when you become an exclusive couple but just looking at the scenario at the top of this blog proves otherwise. Other’s believed that you can’t just know something like this, it has to be discussed. But that begs the next question: “When can you expect to be considered and exclusive couple?”
