I’ve had a tough go of blogging lately. I just don’t seem to have my usual voice. Then I stumbled upon something that should provide enough inspiration to get me back on track. Ifound the 30 Days of Gratitude project through one of my Facebook friends and it seemed perfect.
30 Days of Gratitude is a project that was started by these inspiring folks and it’s one topic every day through the month of November. You can post what you’re grateful for on their page but I think I will write a blog about each topic. It’s like inspiration being delivered daily about something positive and beautiful.
I could easily write a novel about what I love about Rhode Island. From the ease of travel in such a small state to the fact that we have ocean, city, country, and suburbs all in 35 minutes. We have gorgeous landmarks like the Rose Island Lighthouse to the Narragansett Towers and we are less than 3 hours from New York City, less than an hour from Boston, and you can be in Canada in about 8 hours. Those are easy.
If I’m going to write about what I love about where I live I wanted it to be more intimate. Aside from living in a house filled with love, acceptance, and joy I am surrounded by beauty around every corner. From the amazing birds that congregate outside my window everyday to the enormous holly bush in my backyard I have no shortage of opportunities to be grateful.
But instead of writing them I think I’ll show you instead. Welcome to my neighborhood!
Gorgeous photos! Rhode Island is beautiful, especially your part.
